Please pray for Christians in media. There seems to be an unusual lack of income among Christians looking to glorify God in their work. Pray also for Christian Media Alliance.
Donations will be used to further the work in connecting Christians in media and assisting Christian leaders to use media in evangelizing. Your Donation
Are You Ready to Take the Elijah Challenge?
The
Elijah Challenge equips both evangelical and charismatic churches to
minister healing to the sick as a miraculous sign to the world that
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only way to the Father. The
teaching follows Scripture very closely and is not based simply on
experience.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the
truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 11
Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me;
or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. 12 I
tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been
doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to
the Father.
To be born again is the experience of
SONSHIP that gives every one of us our inheritance and equal access to
the Kingdom of God to do exploits, in the Authority and Name of our
Lord Jesus Christ.
“But as many as received him, to them gave
he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his
name.” John 1:12
Notice, it does not say those who receive Him
become Sons of God. He said that they have within themselves the power
to become Sons of God. Believing upon His Name is just the beginning of
this supernatural walk of faith.
From experience, I believe that there are four different levels of SONSHIP identity:
1.
Some spend their lifetime depending on their status of being a son
alone to get them through life victoriously. These are those who are
self-centered. Sometimes they are seen to be “takers.” They never seem
to desire to help others and give out of the abundance of their hearts
to enable other Believers to make it through life.
2. Then
there are some who begin on solid footing. They are pressing into God
and walking in their new nature, but when the discipline becomes
tougher, they falter. Why? Because they are living by their feelings.
Many have been taught that God desires to bless and prosper them.
However, in times of adversity, they seek the comfort and familiarity
that certain areas of the living in the flesh provide. Their walk as a
son is limited by their own understanding of righteousness and sin, not
the Word’s.
3. Next, other sons of the Most High God really
desire and pursue that intimacy with God and allow Him in their
controlled lives, but reserve only a space for Him. However, when He
begins to grow on them and press through to the true liberty of
Himself, they present Him and limit His access to their lives. They cut
that growth off, because of their careers, family values, business
ventures or just because they need more space for themselves.
4.
However, some will stop at nothing but to know Him fully for
themselves. These seek moment-by-moment intimate fellowship with Him, a
face-to-face worship and a confidence based on their continued
OBEDIENCE to the voice of the Father. They never restrict Him, nor do
they grieve the Holy Spirit by their lifestyle. They are quick to
repent and soon learn the tremendous value of walking the walk and
living a holy life that is truly Spirit-led. They experience all the
blessings of a son.
“Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of
mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his
house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the
winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was
founded upon a rock. And every one that hears these sayings of mine,
and does not do them, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built
his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came,
and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great
was the fall of it.” Matthew 7:24-27
I have attached a vision
shared with me some years ago that helped me define my walk in the
Lord, and gave me the inspiration to seek a more mature walk with my
Lord. I lacked this understanding as a youth, but oh, how I desire and
long to be found faithful by my Lord and hear Him say “Well done!” How
I desire to be disciplined by Him, so that I may be found to be
trustworthy and useful in His Kingdom. I pray that you, too, are
following the path of the overcomer, walking in covenant with our Lord
Jesus, and receiving the boldness, confidence, anointing, and power of
SONSHIP.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Col 3:16-17
